Buying an item in ebay through a friend travelling to US

hello!!! i am from Malaysia and I have a friend that is currently undera short working assignment in the US. I plan to ask him to buy some item in ebay. He is an active e-bay buyer with paypal confirmed address however all the purchase was done when he was in Malaysia. Since some seller is requesting paypal confirmed US address only, what can my friend do to ensure he is able to purchase the item without any problem when he is in US. There are still,, many numpty sellers that require a "confirmed address" when it no longer exists or is required by Paypal. Sellers, are Paypal required , if they want to be protected (Seller Protection) for non delivery or unauthorized use , to only ship to the address on the Paypal Transaction Details Page. Sorry, not clear will the purcahse be made on your friend's Ebay acct? Paid by the friend's Paypal acct? My friend did tried to change the shipping address from Malaysia to US address where he is currently is staying. He was able to change the address but unfortunately, he was not able to change the country where it still shows as Malaysia. Any idea on how to fix this? Really appreciate the help.|||Do not change the address in eBay or PayPal. In PayPal and eBay ADD the address as a shipping address and then select them as primary shipping address. Then the eBay block for bidders without a primary shipping address in the US is covered. Did that as well but it only allows me to change the street address but not the country. Does anyone how i can change the address to another country?|||Your registered address should be the country you reside in.
