Resolution Process Gone Wrong!

I purchased (BIN) an item and requested a return/refund the day I received it.(6/25) The seller agreed but mentioned that they would be away for the holiday and it may take a "few days" to receive my refund. Seller never gave me any time frame as to how long they'd be gone. Delivery was attempted 3 days later (6/28) and notice to pick up was left. It hadn't been picked up nor had the seller responded to any emails so I filed a SNAD. They picked up the package today 7/12 and sent me a nasty email saying they told me they would be away etc. They offered a partial refund, which I refused. I want a full refund as they have their item back. The seller refunded the money (partial refund) anyway into my PayPal account. What do I do now?|||file item not as described , give eBay the online checkible delivery proof. if you didn't get proof of delivery , then pay pall / eBay won't help you . if you used a credit card to fund the payment , contact them to do a charge back. and i'd leave negative feedback and all 1's in dsr for failing to ship an as described item and not refunding all $.|||At this point in the "resolution" process all I can do is wait for a response from the seller. There is no option for me to escalate it. I paid with PayPal and yes I have a DC # that shows it was delivered.|||The seller has 7 days from the time you open the case to reply. If you don't get the rest of your refund by then have eBay review the case.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||By partial refund do you mean they didn't refund your return shipping? If so, you are responsible for the return shipping charges. The seller is only required to return your purchase price and initial shipping charges~you pay all return shipping charges out of your pocket.|||Ebay and Paypal care nothing for the Buyer. After over 2 hundred transactions, I have been defrauded, and all Ebay and Paypal want me to do is wait. 30 June bid on and win Apple Iphone. Make instant payment via Paypal on 1 July. Receive message from seller late afternoon, 1 July, that Paypal will not release funds, until I give him positive feedback. In the email, seller states that he needs my payment to ship the item. I'm in south central Florida, he's in Orlando, (175 miles away). I answer that I will leave positive feedback upon receipt of item. That's the last communication from seller. I send another email, the next day asking for shipping data. No reply. I check listing anf find that the seller has relisted and sold the item again. Seller in just the month of July has had 7 transactions, with 5 negative feedbacks, for reselling the same item again and again, with no replies to repeated emails Ebay's response. when attempting to reclaim payment. "We have to give the seller a chance to redeem himself. So we must wait. We will give you the contact information so that you can contact the seller.' Names are different. Contact information location is in Georgia, North East of Atlanta, not Orlando Florida, and when called, doesn't know a thing. Payment Names don't match either. Ebay still can't see the forest for the trees. Still must wait, then more wait. Maybe I'll be lucky to get any money back. Totally non responsive.|||Sailor take a deep breath and then explain how you have been defrauded????? If you filed an INR Paypal claim you simply need to wait for the process to run it's course. If not, what are you waiting for?|||sailor It appears that your seller is unaware that he can print the postage in PayPal from the held payment amount. Still must wait, then more wait. Maybe I'll be lucky to get any money back. If you follow the instructions given to you, to the letter, and in the time frame allowed, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid. eBay are giving your seller the opportunity to complete the transaction by shipping the item. When/if he does not, you will be refunded.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||No...they refunded the purchase price alone. Not the original shipping cost I paid. I am aware that buyers aren't entilted to return shipping even if it is total seller error. That is why I have curtailed my buying here on eBay. There have been too many times that the seller has messed up and I eat the return shipping costs. No more. I would rather spend a little more and if I need to return something there is little or no hassle and I am not out a penny. Having said that.....I escalated ithe claim this morning, requesting that eBay review/resolve it. Within 30 seconds of escalating it I had an email that said it had been resolved, the case closed, and the money was in my PayPal account. So much for reviewing it.|||Sailor, file an "Item Not Received" in either your Paypal or Ebay resolution center.Need a website fast?|||I have curtailed my buying here on eBay. Judging by all the problems you seem to have had as a buyer...that seems like a good idea and I'm sure many sellers are thankful for it!
