Seller agrees to one way of shipping, but doesn't follow through. UGH.

I've had shipping/packaging problems with this seller before. However this time, the items were at bargain prices, so I bought from him again. I then politely messaged him and told him to package the 3 items separately (last time I bought 5 items from him, and he stuffed them all together, which damaged 1 of the 5 items). He replied back saying "you got it". The items came today...all packaged together! I don't understand, if he won't do it, why not just tell me?!! At least I'll appreciate the honest.|||Since the items were at good prices, and it was free shipping, I decided not to get crazy and left him positive fb (he's a top-rated, so I can't do neutral). However, it is just very upsetting... Maybe he felt that he can go back on his words because he knows his prices are a steal...|||If you want items shipped separately, pay separately for each item, with a little time between each payment. Each one is then a separate transaction.~ Lucy ~ Guide to eBay Board AcronymsClick on for links to Help Pages for a new eBayer|||Normally if its free shipping, the seller will ship in whichever manner is the least expensive. As long as all of the cards got there in good shape, you were a winner!Colleen __________________________ Happiness is a decision, not an emotion.|||He combined them to make more money on the transaction, pure and simple. We ship with free shipping and love to combine shipping but if a buyer request otherwise, we'll do it as the shipping price is built into the item price as though they would be shipped separately. I personally feel he should have honored this request._______________________ "So many negs! So little time!"|||I don't understand this part: "I decided not to get crazy and left him positive fb (he's a top-rated, so I can't do neutral). " Are "top-rated" sellers immune to neutral and negative feedback:?|||||||||I told him "SHIP THESE ITEMS AS IF 3 SEPARATE PEOPLE BOUGHT THEM. PRETEND 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WON THESE AUCTIONS." And to whoever who said to wait between payments, I'll definitely do that next time.|||||||||"I've had shipping/packaging problems with this seller before. However this time, the items were at bargain prices, so I bought from him again." Doing the same thing over and over again , and expecting different results is just not a good idea.|||"I told him "SHIP THESE ITEMS AS IF 3 SEPARATE PEOPLE BOUGHT THEM. PRETEND 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE WON THESE AUCTIONS." News flash, Buyers can /should not ask/demand to change the terms of sale POST auction. Sellers , not Buyers set the terms of sale/ shipping. After the first problems with the same seller, why would you expect / assume anything would change? Did you review the seller's feedback received from other buyers before bidding and at the very least for the second round of purchases? Link|||Did they come without any damage? Safely wrapped even though they were in the same box? Did you send him extra money to ship each one separately? You have NOTHING to complain about. I can't believe you would even consider giving him a neutral for something you asked him to do that was NOT a part of the terms of sale.|||
