need help using paypal please

can anyone tell me the process to buy a vehicle using paypal as far as the deposit and making the final payment. It will be shipped from another state. Does the seller get the money before i get the car etc.. Also, what to watch for .. thanks|||-no seller in their right mind would accept paypal for a vehicle payment (except for the initial deposit) -no buyer in their right mind should buy a used vehicle (unless under original warranty) that they had not test driven.|||that is why on ebay motors you can choose distance -within 10 miles -within 25 miles -within 50 miles -within 100 miles etc... to search for vehicles within the distance you are willing to travel...|||You are only protected by using a credit card and even then, you'd better check with your CC company to see the limits and rules on chargebacks. Can't you find a car in your area?Need a website fast?|||Just so you know, you are never truly 100% covered by Paypal or any payment service and that's why, for a high dollar item, it's best to shop in person so you can check the item out completely.Need a website fast?|||I do hope this is research and you have not already purchased a vehicle without knowing the terms. The seller will have stated in the listing how they want the payment. I would imagine PP deposit, which as you probably know is non refundable. Then cash at time of exchange of payment and the vehicle and its papers. But each seller will set their terms. Be sure you know the seller terms and the vehicle's condition before purchase. There are services that offer a vehicle inspection before you bid. Also, go to the Trust & Safety Board and read I think the second post down ...Pi's Post Office Wall, Scams on eBay. Find the vehicle scams, in fact I'd advise you read them all, so you are prepared and won't fall for any in the future. Losses based on a vehicle classified by a law enforcement agency prior to being listed on eBay, as "theft recovery" or "previously stolen". Other Buyer's remorse. Any damage or listing discrepancies that were disclosed to you prior to acceptance of the vehicle.
