Why can't a buyer add a seller to an ignore list?

It's my understanding that seller's can add buyers to ignore list. So, why can't it be done the other way?|||Because Ebay does not currently offer or want to give buyer's that capability.|||"It's my understanding that seller's can add buyers to ignore list. So, why can't it be done the other way?" Ignore list, NO, but they can place a bidder on their blocked bidder list, so the bidder using that user ID can not bid on the seller's auctions. If you have a seller you would rather not deal with, place them on your Favorite's Seller list in your MY Ebay and ADD a note stating DO NOT BID. That can be your Blocked Seller list. It will mean you need to check your list , before bidding every time. A better idea, is to look at a seller's total NEGS on one page using toolhause each time prior to bidding.|||Blocking a buyer from bidding is pretty much the same as ignoring the buyer. There are certain sellers that list the same item like 20 times for the same price. There are so many sellers I couldn't keep track of them all. Too bad there isn't just an "ignore seller" button that would not list their items while a person is signed in. So, how can I make that recommendation to ebay? Not that they'll listen but what the heck.|||If you have a search that you run regularly, you can exclude certain sellers from that search by using Advanced Search. Then run the search, and either bookmark/favorite the results, or save the search. You will never see that seller in that particular search again.friends Director,|||I have heard you can add their email address to the BBL and it will block emails. I have not tried it so I do not know if it actually works or not.|||Ok, I sent them a request to add the feature. The biggest problem with ebay (and probably why they're going to have bad Q2) is that they don't listen to their customers.|||I agree, There are several reason why someone would want to ignore or no longer do business with a seller. 1. problems with a sell 2. seller refuses to leave a feedback 3. seller charging too much for shipping 4. overseas sellers selling junk and it cost you too much to ship it back for a refund. 5. and the list can go on and on. The bottom line is there should be a way for Buyers to block/ignore sellers that we have negative experiences, after we have in good faith left a positive feedback. Maybe that's a partial solution, allow Buyers to modify their feedback if the Seller does not follow through. and if eBay keeps ignoring customer feedback, they should remember that without the Buyers, eBay would not exist.|||If you want to avoid seeing certain sellers auctions go to advance search, go down to the seller section, click the checkmark and the include button will highlight. Change the include button to exclude and put that sellers id in the box and welcome to no more viewing that seller's listings.|||
